From constitutionalist at nc.rr.com Thu Oct 29 18:32:58 2009 From: constitutionalist at nc.rr.com (Glen Bradley) Date: Thu, 29 Oct 2009 18:32:58 -0400 Subject: [Bradley4House] Updated Website Message-ID: <566752CD-B56C-49A3-BF98-A85C01C557D8@nc.rr.com> Good afternoon everybody! It's Thursday, October 29th 2009, and we are coming up on one year until the 2010 General Election. Our next broadcast list message is scheduled for the 365 day pre-anniversary of the election itself, whereupon I will be transitioning into a weekly message format. Starting in November 2009, we are going to get seriously busy on the road to building up a base for the 2010 elections. I intend to hold a series of 10 Town Hall meetings around the District -- one per month starting in January -- where we can discuss the most important issues of the day and offer potential solutions from the perspective of a NC State Assemblyman. The fellow I had tapped for my website was not very responsive, and I have had literally thousands of hits on the placeholder I had designed, therefore I took it on myself to go ahead and create a webpage that will suffice until I can have a more professional site made. The new design is now live at http://nchouse2010.glenbradley.net/ I have been contacted by the Young Republicans, and the Young Americans For Liberty, and the Constitution Party regarding endorsements from their respective groups. While this is indeed good news, I believe that we need to push the endorsements even more than that. I am in the process of actively soliciting endorsements from Gun Owners of America and the Campaign For Liberty. I am also interested in securing the endorsement of the NRA, as they are far more widespread and better-known than GOA, even if the GOA has a far more principles pro-gun stance than the NRA does. I would like to hold a fundraiser during the first half of December in order to build up funds for hosting these Town Hall meetings. We currently have about $200 in the account (the full expenses spreadsheet will be posted on the website before Monday, November 2nd with detail on every penny the campaign has spent thus far. If you have ideas/locations for such fundraisers, and or Town Hall meetings, would be willing to help seek endorsements, have feedback on the new website, or any comments at all, please let me know at nchouse49 at glenbradley.net Thanks! Glen Bradley
