LITTLETON — If you love being an American and everything it stands for, then you may want to check out this year’s annual July Patriotic Parade in Littleton. Each year friends and families enjoy quality time during the patriotic holiday. Bands, clowns, youngsters on bikes, kids on skates, kiddy cars, antique cars, fire trucks and horses all lined up to make some noise and have a blast while everyone celebrates our nation’s birthday.

“We have the Shriners from Raleigh,” said parade co-coordinator Heidi Hogan. “We have John Skinner with his farm equipment - you know that’s important. It says something about who we are. We have the old fire engine from Enfield and old army vehicles.”
