State House District 49
Despite the request from the House and Senate leadership to switch my race from House to Senate, we just learned today that a big-money Republican has stated his intention to file for Senate 7 this year.
This will give the House and Senate leadership exactly what they want, a boost in GOP turnout for the district, while I can run for the less expensive race in House49.
North Carolina State House District 49 includes all of Franklin, and parts of Nash and Halifax Counties.
